Steps to making the perfect iced tea Choose your tea. Black, green, white, herbal, or fruit teas all make excellent iced teas. Select your tea based on your preferred flavour profile. Measure the Tea. Use double the amount of tea leaves or bags compared to what you’d use for hot tea. This ensures the tea remains flavourful after being diluted with ice.Example: Use 2 tea bags or 2 teaspoons of loose leaf tea per 8 ounces of water. Boil water. Bring water to a boil, then let it cool slightly for green or white teas (around 170°F-185°F), or use fully boiling water (about 200°F-212°F) for black and herbal teas. Steep the tea. Pour the hot water over the leaves and steep for the recommended time of 5-7 minutes. Avoid over-steeping to prevent bitterness.  Sweeten (Optional). If you want a sweetened iced tea, add sugar, honey, or your preferred sweetener while the tea is hot so it dissolves easily. You can also use simple syrup (equal parts sugar and water, boiled until dissolved) for an even blend. Cool the tea. After steeping, remove the tea bags or strain the loose leaves. Allow the tea to cool to room temperature. For a faster cooling process, place the tea in the refrigerator. Serve over ice. Fill a glass with ice cubes, then pour the cooled tea over the ice. If using room-temperature tea, the ice will help chill it quickly without diluting the flavour. Garnish (Optional). Enhance your iced tea with fresh lemon slices, mint leaves, or fruit like berries or peach slices for added flavour. Adjust and enjoy. Taste your iced tea and adjust the sweetness or add extra ice if needed. Serve immediately for a refreshing, flavourful iced tea.
Raspberry tea
Raspberry tea $25.00
Raspberry Tea – bright, fruity and deeply refreshing Our Raspberry Tea is a vibrant blend that celebrates the bold, juicy flavour of locally grown raspberries from Wandin Yallock Farms in the Yarra Valley. These sun-ripened berries bring a natural tart-sweetness to the cup, perfectly balanced by a base of blackberry leaf, which adds a smooth, earthy body to the infusion. Hibiscus lends a rich crimson hue and a tangy lift, enhancing the fruitiness with a gentle zing. A touch of licorice root brings subtle sweetness and depth, while delicate rose petals add a floral softness that rounds out the blend beautifully. Crafted with care and sourced close to home, this tea is as much about flavour as it is about supporting the local growers who make it possible. Whether enjoyed hot or iced, it’s a refreshing, feel-good brew—bright, balanced, and full of natural charm.
