Wandin Yallock Farms is owned and farmed by Chris Manders, whose family has a long history of farming at Wandin in the Yarra Valley. Their great uncle, Harold Manders, began farming at Wandin Yallock in the early 1920s - three generations ago. Chris's grandfather and great grandparents also farmed at Wandin East.

For Chris, Wandin Yallock Farms is all about sharing the joy of sustainably farmed, artisan produce, jams and relishes that are full of flavour and a delight to cook with and enjoy. Every product begins with paddock-ripened, hand-picked ingredients grown in Wandin’s rich, fertile soil, lovingly cared for by Chris and his team. The result? Hand-crafted jams and relishes made with care, packed with great taste, and crafted to the highest quality.

Chris’s love for agriculture began early, growing up on his family farm. After finishing secondary school, he pursued his passion by earning a Bachelor of Applied Science (Agriculture) from Melbourne University (formerly Dookie Agricultural College).

Following his studies, Chris built valuable experience by providing agronomic technical services to broadacre and horticultural farmers in Victoria’s Goulburn Valley. He later expanded his horizons with several years working and travelling through Europe. During that time, he contributed to agricultural research and development in Switzerland, gained hands-on experience on an organic farm in Scotland, and worked on a livestock and cropping farm in England.

Wandin Yallock Farms can be found at 105 Quayle Road, Wandin Yallock, Victoria or online at Wandin Yallock Farms.
