An award winning traditional green tea from Amba Estate in Sri Lanka, made using a one-leaf-and-bud pluck. Freshly harvested leaves are steamed in a bamboo rice steamer, hand-rolled in a “kula” basket, and dried in a wok. The result is a green tea with clean grassy, vegetal notes, a touch of oceanic umami on the nose, and a bittersweet finish.
